In personal writings at least. It is very much like art - while AI can make really aesthetically pleasing images and drawings, I think art’s value lies in its proximity to its creator, and all of his/her imperfections.
Therefore I have decided to not have AI in my writing - from now on, in all of the writings you will see here, they will be unadulterated by AI - I will not be using it to write. The only points that I will be using them will be:
- spelling + grammar checking
- helping me code interactive visuals
Of course like any websites these days, this website’s maintenance is heavily assisted by codex agents - that will continue - but they will not touch my writings beside putting them in the right places.
I don’t identify as a good writer. I just want to be myself. And I think in this day and age that is very important. And I hope you, kind stranger, will come to appreciate my real voice.
